Used Car Resale Prices: Sipa Automobiles

Used Car Resale Prices: Sipa Automobiles

Appointed head of Sipa Automobiles’ used car division, David Rairolle streamlined the group’s remarketing process to reduce the time it takes to list vehicles online and standardize the quality of listings. The project is based on two key elements: a standardized inspection process (which identifies an average of up to 300 euros in repair costs and locks in the price as soon as the vehicle enters inventory) and the creation of listings via a smartphone featuring 3D visuals, 360° views, and damage hotspots. Deployed through Carviz (a subsidiary of Bee2Link that has won over Hyundai and for which Sipa serves as a distributor), the solution has enabled Sipa to save up to five days on inventory turnover and unify its digital image across its entire network.

E-Reputation Award: Kersaint Automobile

This year, the e-Reputation Award is heading to Brittany. With an average rating of 9.35 out of 10 based on 253 customer reviews, Kersaint Autostore has won the award. This Sofipel Group location, situated a few kilometers from Brest, specializes in premium used vehicles with odometer readings between 50,000 and 120,000 km. Led by Pierre-Guillaume Regnault and driven in particular by Jean-Christophe Hall—one of the group’s most active salespeople—the team sells approximately 1,000 cars per year. The company’s success is based on high standards, both in vehicle preparation and in the experience offered to buyers—a level of quality regularly verified by mystery shoppers commissioned by the parent company. Customer satisfaction tracking relies on Fidcar, the solution provided by MotorK.

Original Version Animation Award: Nissan

Six years after its last triumph at EMVO, Nissan is back in the spotlight with RePlay, a brand-controlled vehicle remarketing channel—covering employee vehicles, leased-back vehicles, and strategic sales. The cars pass through Renault’s Refactory in Flins (78) before being listed on Nissan.fr, with fixed prices set in collaboration with Bee2Link and available for reservation for 99 euros. Dealerships remain in the loop: leads are forwarded to them to finalize the sale and handle vehicle intake, preparation, and delivery, with substantial compensation paid per transaction (excluding revenue from ancillary services). GCA handles logistics through five distribution centers, aiming for delivery within two days in the Île-de-France region and ten days outside that region. In 2025, Nissan West Europe resold 33,500 used vehicles through its certified network. Replay will virtually increase this inventory at each dealer by attracting national customers without competing with the local customer base: an initiative born in France that is already being closely examined by the group’s other subsidiaries.
B2B Strategy Award: Starterre

B2B Strategy Award: Starterre

A pioneer in virtual showrooms more than ten years ago, Starterre is once again making its mark at EMVO with an idea that will set the industry on a new course. Under the leadership of Christian Fernandez, the Lyon-based purchasing cooperative now offers a single platform covering the entire used-car value chain: vehicle identification (DAT), photo editing, posting on classified ad sites and social media, all the way through to long-term lease sales (with CA Auto Bank). Artificial intelligence automates tasks and data entry on the platform, the result of a year’s work involving an R&D unit and a 20-person IT team. By March, the platform already had 450 members, and the used-car long-term lease program was posting its first positive results, with a commission paid to the business referrer (1,500 euros for members, 1,000 euros for others). No other used car supplier has rolled out an IT solution of this scale; Starterre is reaffirming its role as a B2B dealer and gaining a significant lead over the competition.
Special Jury Prize: VO-Elec

Special Jury Prize: VO-Elec

In addition to the three awards up for a vote, the jury chose to recognize VO-Elec, a new entrant that has opted to build a remarketing model focused exclusively on used electric vehicles. Arnaud Maurey, a partner at the Perpignan-based dealership owned by Jean-Philippe Bertino, opted for an agile structure, focusing his efforts on digital platforms and the quality of information: real-world range, certified State of Health (SOH) for the battery, and a transparent vehicle history. This positioning is designed to address the concerns of buyers who are still hesitant about EVs. The result: more than 150 sales in the first year alone—80% of which were made outside the department—and a five-star Google rating. Encouraged by these results, Arnaud Maurey is now planning to expand through a network or franchise model, supported by a turnkey package.
